Bonding Dental San Diego
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is performed to repair damage caused by decay, to alter the alignment of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for other cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding. A gel is applied so the resin will adhere to the surface of the tooth.
The composite is then placed on the tooth and the bonding agent hardens with intense light. The last step is shaping and polishing to give a lustrous finish.
Tooth bonding is a process wherein your dentist applies a composite resin to one or more teeth that have become discolored or physically damaged. The plastic resin will be tooth-colored to blend in, and your teeth can be bonded for numerous reasons. Excellent timing, reception, overall treatment by everyone involved in the visit and treatment, and Dr. McCleave is indeed both a most wonderful dentist and human being. Work is done quickly and with utmost attention, no pain or discomfort ever, and crowns are being made and put on within the same day, within only a few hours during which the patient can leave and attend to other activities. Lost a crown on a Thursday. Had an appointment on Monday. Dr McCleave was warm and pleasant as always? . I was VERY worried that I would need an implant. That would mean saving up for implants for both my husband and myself. Having no dental insurance, saving up for two implants would have put us in a very tight financial position for quite awhile. Dr. Mc Cleave was thankfully able to re-cement the crown and made my year! The office staff is also warm and caring. Thank you all for alleviating my BIG worry ?

Always a great process from appointment setting, to appointment confirmation/updates. In my 7 years of going never had to wait more than a few minutes to be called in for my cleanings. Have had a few fillings and an emergency chipped tooth that they took me in same day. Best dentist office I’ve experienced and will always my business and referrals.
