Hamit Aras, D.D.S. PH.D
Hamit Aras was born in Tabriz Located southeast of Azerbaijan. He relocated to Ankara,Turkey when he was in high school and completed his education there. After graduating dental school he started his Ph.D in periodontal disease with research in the biochemistry field. His thesis (the effects of NSAIDs on gingival crevicular fluids myeloperoxidise & elastase of periodontitis) was published in the Journal of Periodontology (Offical publication of American Academy of Perialodontology) in May 2007.

Once again Dr. Aras took great care to make my 3 cavity filling replacements comfortable and pain free. It was the first time for me to have Dr. Aras use a laser to prepare my teeth. It was done very quickly and aside from a burning smell, wasn’t bad at all. I was in and out in about a half hour, with no pain or discomfort.

Nothing but smiles here thanks to the friendly hygenist, Sandy, and Dr. Aras. The digital x-rays quickly ID’d three small cavities which were little more than sugar/temperature sensitive spots since they were caught early. (Thankfully!) The intra-oral camera showed what the x-rays found up on “the big screen” so I could see what I was paying for. Sandy (the front office all-star) provided a quote for services within a minute or two once I gave the OK to treat them, and after a quick payment, I found myself back in the chair. NO NEEDLES! NO drool-inducing anesthesia. Just like the state-of-the-art water scaling equipment they cleaned my teeth with, they used a water cooled dental laser to remove the necessary tooth material pain-free and UV-cured the fillings in no time, so I was back to work within the hour.
Just in case you might need more than a cleaning or a drill-n-fill, they also have some fantastic options for sports/sleeping and snoring bite-guards, Homeoblock, Invisalign, and traditional orthodontics as well, and I think I saw an on-site CNC machine for one-day crowns and such.Needless to say, I’ll be returning for whatever dental services I may need since they make it a point to stay at the forefront of dentistry and orthodontics, and their prices are reasonable.

Dr. McCleave and Dr. Aras are the is the best. My wife and I have been patients of Dr. McCleave for 45 years and would never consider changing. The entire staff is unusually talented, open and friendly. It is like going to see old friends. Start with the best and you will not be disappointed. Why go anyplace else.

I have never had a cavity and never needed a filling until now. I had two small chips in my upper and lower rear molars from biting a bone chip. The told me it would be best to get them patched to avoid turning into a cavity. I was a littlt nervous from hearing horror stories from people that needed alot of dental work. The drills sounded like a terrible experience.
Dr. Aras and staff are awesome. I arrived at 8 am, they were ready for me right away. He told me they were not going to use a drill, but instead a Laser that removes any soft material and preps the surface for the patch. No numbing needed. I had always had a good experience here so I trusted them.
20 minutes later I was done. All patched, no pain, and two invisible patches.

I have always had hated going to the dentist so when my molar chipped and the pain became unbearable, my wife suggested that I see her dentist (My previous dentist office was more of an assembly line of strange hairy knuckles and pain). As the discomfort grew, I broke down and said “OK”. Dr Aras saw me and told me I needed the dreaded root canal. At this point the pain in my tooth and jaw were so bad, I accepted this very unpleasant fate. On the day of my appointment, I assembled all of my courage and proceeded to the dentist office. When I got there I was greeted by the staff and went on to see Dr Wiseman. She explained the procedure step by step and seemed genuinely concerned not to make the root canal any more difficult/painful than it had to be. In fact, other than the initial shots of novocain, I didnt feel a thing throughout the whole procedure.
I can honestly say that I have finally had a positive, pain free dentist appointment. The staff was great and the dentists were phenomenal.

I recently had 5 old fillings replaced, all done at one sitting. Although the procedures took about 3 hours, there was very little pain, and whatever pain I did have Dr. Aras immediately stopped and made me more comfortable. Dr. Aras and his assistant consistently checked and asked how I was doing, and despite all the work, made me feel reassured and relaxed. I greatly appreciated how thoroughly they checked to make sure that all the new fillings and adjustments were perfect. I went home in no pain, and am feeling great!

Had a great experience at this dental office recently. I had to undergo a root canal redo and crown replacement and felt that the staff here was very helpful and made the entire experience less stressful. They also outlined the cost clearly and were even flexible on payment. I had Dr Aras as my main Dr and he was awesome. Really meticulous and made sure everything was done right. Had a crown replaced with a small decay spot cleaned up in the process. Only glitch was a delay in the anesthesia kicking in which made the appointment last longer. Dr. Aras very careful of my pain issues until the meds kicked in.
